Great oportunity with BJC!   Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Application Security Architect experience.   This person will be helping to build and lead Security best practices! 

Highly technical and analytical experience, with a proven deep background (preferred 5+ years’ in addition to cybersecurity) in application programming.  
Proficient at communicating business risk from cybersecurity issues.
Solid understanding of network and web protocols.

Experienced with REST and SOAP development and security controls.
Additional experience with JSON, JWT, XML, jQuery and JavaScript.
Knowledge of security fundamentals for software-as-a-service (SaaS) application integrations.
Skillful in single sign-on (SSO), OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML. 
Experienced working with API gateways such as CA API Gateway, MuleSoft and IBM API Connect.
Experience working with one or more databases, including Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB and SQL Server.
Expected working knowledge of Windows, Linux and Unix.

Role Purpose

Cybersecurity Threat Specialist identifies, disrupts, and remediates the threat of both internal and external bad actors within BJC’s environment. The Cybersecurity Threat Specialist uses data analysis, threat intelligence, and cutting-edge security technologies and works closely with the Security Operations Center.

Responsibilities

• Participate in threat hunting operations; detects and mitigates threats utilizing cybersecurity measures, including: Intrusion Prevention and Detection, Access Control and Authorization, Policy Enforcement Security, Protocol Analysis, Firewall Management, Incident Response, Encryption, Web filtering, Advanced Threat Protection, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, Web Application Assessment, Wireless Assessment, Social Engineering, Physical Assessment, Open Source Intelligence, Threat Modeling, Patch Management.
• Research, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and integrate complex data from multiple intelligence sources to perform threat analysis, and provide creative solutions that align with strategic clinical and business workflows. Drive the tuning of detection infrastructure with technology teams to identify emerging threats. Support the Security Operations Center and other internal teams by applying analytic and technical skills to investigate intrusions, identify malicious activity and potential insider threats.
• Write and implements complex analytics queries, threat visualization dashboards, and large data volume management.
• Provide actionable intelligence for enterprise risk reduction and remediation by partnering with key stakeholders in identifying risk remediation approached to current and emerging threats.
• Document best practices to enhance analyst playbooks, response procedures, and courses of action. Remain informed of emerging issues, industry trends and/or relevant changes to the IT security landscape.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate's Degree
• 5-10 years of experience

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years of experience
• <2 years of supervisory experience 
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Certified Forensic Computer Examiner
• Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Offensive Security Certified Professional
