Job Summary

Works closely with the Sr Director of Development/Foundations and Grants to pursue and manage grants from private, corporate, and community foundations. Primary responsibilities include pre- and post-award grant processes essential to developing funding proposals and grant reports that support the Health System's needs. In collaboration with service lines and the Sr Director, the position will ensure compliance with active grant requirements and growth of the Foundation Giving pipeline by writing and submitting applications, preparing budgets, researching and identifying funding sources, tracking deliverables, maintaining deadline calendar, and communicating with funders to meet the annual Foundation Giving goal.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Communications, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, or related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in journalism, technical writing, or other professional writing

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum 2 years experience in grant writing preferred.
• Experience in donor cultivation, grant writing, and/or contracts management preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Deadline and detail oriented.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Familiarity with donor database applications.
• Exhibit a high level of energy, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a can-do attitude.
• Contributes to a collaborative and supportive fundraising culture.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
