Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Meridian, ID is seeking a Director Logistics Services Agreement to join our Supply Chain team.
Unit/Position Summary:
The Director Logistics Services Agreement (LSA) is responsible for managing the planning and execution of strategic partnerships with our key suppliers who will be servicing the Consolidated Service Center. This role provides strategic vision, direction and leadership for the health system while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing an overall supplier negotiation strategy that produces the best savings and supplier revenue opportunities under both the supply contract and the Logistics Service Agreement (LSA).- Facilitates supplier orientation meetings, onboarding and individual one-on-one negotiation meetings leading to and resulting from the execution of a Logistics Service Agreement with each supplier.- Manages high level supplier relationships and performance expectations. Develops key performance measures for suppliers and negotiates metrics into future LSA iterations.- Directs all Logistics Service Agreement contracting strategies and maintains strategic relationships with suppliers being considered for providing supplies/services to the Consolidated Service Center.- Coordinates with other sourcing and contracting activities to ensure the best terms are considered in both the LSA and the underlying supply contracts that offer the health system the best total cost value.- Prepares financial analysis of impacts on business operations and makes recommendations. - Oversees and is accountable for all operational logistics ensuring compliance with applicable environmental, health, safety and other regulatory rules and regulations. - Responsible for full employment life cycle for staff to include hiring, termination, performance management, coaching, training, and mentoring to staff. - Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience: 10 years of relevant experience.
