DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:
Provides administrative leadership to patient care units and other hospital departmental operations to support the continuation of patient care programs. Serves as a consultant on maintaining standards of practice and other hospital policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Serves as a management and decision making resource within the Medical Center.
- Interprets and facilitates the implementation of Medical Center policies and procedures.
- Coordinates interdepartmental services for the provision of patient care.
- Analyzes and evaluates effectiveness of policies and systems.
- Assists with orientation and professional development of staff.
- Assesses quality of patient care by making rounds to various patient care units and other hospital departments.
- The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned.
