Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Twin Falls, ID is seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator to join our Quality and Patient Safety System team.
Unit/Position Summary
This is a full-time position. Previous knowledge in healthcare workforce safety preferred.

Responsibilities
- Program manager for defined employer programs that often rely on judgement/interpretation. Maintain project plans, track project progress, analyze data, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Complete and monitor employer required functions or processes, ensuring that they are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with established employer policies and applicable health & safety regulations.
- Develop, implement and monitor health & safety activities and action plans to improve compliance or reduce hazards or risk of injury.
- Perform health & safety tasks such as air sampling, ergonomic evaluations, accident investigations, fit testing and assists in writing detailed technical reports describing results.
- Research best practices and regulatory standards and serve as the subject matter expert on a variety of health & safety topics and provides training and education.
- Schedule a variety of appointments in coordination with customer, patient, department and provider schedules.
- Resource for complex customer service and billing questions. Researches and responds to problems, questions and issues/opportunities with recommendations and solutions. Coordinates with other departments to resolve.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or four years' experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience: 2 years of experience.
