A registered professional nurse responsible for providing quality diabetes education.In collaboration with clinical management and interdisciplinary staff of the DiabetesCenter, participates in the development and promotion of programs to prevent or control diabetes and its related co-morbidities. The Diabetes Educator evaluates effectiveness of center programs by means of analysis of outcome studies of center programs and activities as directed.
