In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.
Job Description
Our Corporate & Foundation Relations team is seeking a Development Coordinator to assist in securing significant philanthropic support from foundations and corporations. This is an excellent opportunity in Development, join us!
You will:
- Provide management of the daily operations of the CFR, including recordkeeping, database maintenance, scheduling, reporting, budgets, analysis, research, and fundraising.
- Assist in budget, activity, and report planning by producing regular and ad hoc analyses.
- Work with divisions across Development and other MSK departments to meet team goals.
- Oversee a small portfolio of donors.
- Initiate analysis of issues, present recommendations to leadership.
You are:
- Capable of anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory information.
- A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
- Action-oriented and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
You have:
- 2-4 years of relevant Development or Grant Management experience.
- The ability to build rapport and communicate effectively both in-person, "remotely," and via written correspondence.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Grant writing experience a plus!
