Job Summary
Assists with coordination of acknowledgement, recognition, reporting, and engagement activities. Provides critical project management and tactical support for an expansive stewardship program, fundamentally designed to advance strategic fundraising objectives.Job Duties
- With strategic and operational direction from leadership, works to coordinate stewardship activities that include but not limited to gift acknowledgement, donor recognition, fund and impact reporting, and donor engagement communications.
- Directs donor recognition project request process, ensures compliance with recognition policies and guidelines, and obtains all requisite approvals, prior to initiating new project.
- Establishes and maintains project management documents and production timelines.
- Support strategic stewardship initiatives reflective of the varied and diverse donor audiences across the health system.
- Proactively executes recurring stewardship activities that include but are not limited to post-event thank you letters, donor birthday cards, holiday cards, stewardship phone calls, and pledge reminders.
- Manage detailed tracking process for personalized gift acknowledgement letters on behalf of Geisinger Health Foundation.
- Administers data management procedures and tasks in The Raiser's Edge to ensure stewardship and donor recognition actions get captured consistently and accurately.
- Partners with facilities teams across the health system on donor recognition project logistics and installations.
- Works with facilities ongoing to capture naming opportunities and physical donor recognition inventory into named space management software Archibus.
- Manages processes and procedures to identify and welcome new members of leadership and loyalty giving societies, and enters and tracks related actions in The Raiser's Edge.
- Coordinates stewardship initiatives for annual giving donors.
- Serves as primary stewardship liaison for new design and print production projects with Communications.
- Coordinate production and implementation of thoughtful stewardship and donor recognition activities and events.
- Maintains the confidentiality of information coming into and being disseminated out of the department.
- Works collaboratively and appropriately communicates with superiors and colleagues.
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Travel may be required. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. 2-3 years nonprofit experience preferred
Will need to travel across Geisinger footprint for meetings, donor recognition projects, and events. Weekend gala event 1-2 times/year.
