Overview
BI Analyst - Master Data Management (Intermediate to Advanced)

As a key member of our Master Data Management team at St Luke's you will be integral in bringing disparate data sources together to create trusted, single-source-of-truth domains that are shared across the enterprise. The ideal candidate for this position would have great communication skills, be a curious self-starter, have great analytical and problem-solving skills, and have a passion for data. In this role some experience with Profisee is preferred, but not required.
Required Criteria:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Experience: Minimum 4 years related experience
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between business, functional, and technical teams to facilitate, collect, and define business requirements
- Develop and implement strategies to translate requirements into master data methods that ensure data quality
- Configure Profisee components to automate data mastering and stand-up data steward portals
- Work closely with architects and developers to help shape architecture, data flows, and data quality rules based on your understanding of data needs
- Utilize data quality techniques for data validation, unit testing, and automated integration testing using SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools
- Test new software products/updates and work with development team to improve usability and recommend improvements
- Help identify and/or define indicators of performance and data quality metrics
Experience:
- Ability to understand and translate business needs to functional/technical requirements
- Experience in database, software, and/or report testing (quality assurance, user acceptance testing, etc.)
- Background knowledge/practice in process or system definition, analysis, and improvement
- Ability to create and present technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information using various reporting tools (Power BI experience preferred)
- Solid SQL experience, writing queries
