This position will develop and direct the corporate strategy and provide operational guidance of imaging services, diagnostic radiology, and all other imagining areas. Scope of work includes imaging services in the acute care hospitals, surgical hospitals, and in collaboration with the imagine center radiology leadership. This person will work directly with the Directors of Radiology at each site to implement corporate strategy, optimize operations, and drive quality.
- Develop and direct the corporate strategy for the operations of imaging services, diagnostic radiology, and all other imagining areas. Including the organizational strategy for imagining departments, assist in the development of the technology and capital development plans, and assist in implementation of the strategy for Radiologist support to the organization.
- Directs all operational aspects of the Department of Radiology within the Tenet Health Organization. This includes ensuring clinical quality, and clinical outcomes, policy development, and adherence to guidelines from external regulatory and accrediting agencies.
- Develop and implement operations and quality dashboards for all imaging departments. Work with Directors of Radiology to improve any performance in any of the identified areas.
- Monitors all revenue and expenses for assigned areas. Verifies and reconciles budgeted funds. Reports on variances and initiates corrective action. Serves as principal facilitator of budgetary process for Radiology.
- Standardizes practices and systems and works with the Asset Life Cycle Management (ALCM) to facilitate system-wide planning for new and replacement equipment.

Qualifications:Requirements:
- Bachelors of Science in Radiology, Biology or other health care related field.
- Masters of Business Administration or Masters of Healthcare Administration.
- At least 5 years previous experience as a Director of Radiology.
- State issues Radiology Technologist License.
- Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) Certification.
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, analytical, multitasking, detail orientation, and organizational skills, required. Must be able to communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point), required.
- Advanced analytics skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50%. Will run MVR on final candidate.
Preferred:
- Experience as a Director of Radiology for a multi-entity health system.
- Lean operations or Six Sigma implementation experience.
