Cincinnati Children's Hospital, a nonprofit academic medical center established in 1883, is one of the oldest and most distinguished pediatric hospitals in the United States. We offer comprehensive clinical services, from treatments for rare and complex conditions to well-child care. In the 2021-2022 U.S. News & World Report survey of best children's hospitals, Cincinnati Children's ranked No. 4 among all Honor Roll hospitals.
The development of the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) was/is a vision for the future of cardiovascular care for children locally and nationally. The Heart Institute at CCHMC is the "change agent" that effects improvement academically, clinically, and operationally in support of institutional objectives.
The Heart Institute is currently seeking a Vice President that will be responsible for leading all administrative, operational and business functions of the institute; which include the clinical, research, educational and financial goals. This position will oversee all financial and business functions of the institute; including those related to: human resources; patient access; billing and satisfaction; the pre and post research grant award process; clinical program assessment and development; operating and capital budgeting and quality improvement as it pertains to the institute's business and financial operations.

The elements comprising the Vice President's role, unique to the Heart Institute, encompass multi-departmental as well as multi-divisional integration for strategic planning, tactical goal execution, and daily operations. The fiscal management scope is broader, with a corresponding necessity to engage externally at multiple points strategically, operationally, and financially during the routine execution of responsibilities.
The role of Vice President is surrounded by a highly competent team to include 3 Directors, 7 Managers, and 9 Financial Analysts.
