Position Summary:
The Laboratory Manager of Business Development is responsible for managing all aspects of laboratory the business development, client retention, service support and marketing of these service lines in the PNW. The role is responsible for the development and management of a growing sales team, sales training program, oversight to the growth strategy, attainment of growth and retention goals with oversight to enhance operating margin and working in the field 3.5 days per week to support the sales and service team. This position is responsible for the direction of quality, cost effective and performance outreach services provided to MultiCare Clinics, non-MultiCare community physicians and other community healthcare systems and providers. The professional in this role applies principles of leadership, needs and value-based sales, human resources, and continuous quality improvement in the overall management, coordination, supervision, development and refinement of outpatient new client onboarding, retention and outreach services. Internal contacts are at all levels and require establishing rapport and developing strong working relationships. External contacts include outside organizations, physicians, health systems, clients, vendors, and consultants.Minimum Requirements:
3 years management experience in healthcare sales, preferred laboratory or diagnostics
5 years of experience in related professional/technical role or functionEducation/Licenses/Certifications:
