Position Summary:
The Vice President (VP), People & Culture is responsible for leadership and strategic delivery of Human Potential (HP) partnership support to optimize the performance and the execution of the core businesss strategic projects and goals. This position requires an individual who can act as a senior consultant to the business and build and execute a strong and integrated HR strategy. The VP leads the People & Culture team that establishes and manages relationships within an assigned region or business unit, gaining an in-depth understanding of the business units strategic plans and operations and its people needs and provides guidance and decision-making support. The People and Culture team provides regional support to business leaders in key areas of employee relations, leadership and organizational development, performance management, engagement and retention, and new employee orientation, among others. This position contributes to the continuous improvement of the People & Culture function and works in collaboration with other HP executives to build a world-class HR organization with strong employee engagement. As part of the HP executive team, this role requires an experienced perspective based on business and organizational transformation, active collaboration, agility, technical excellence, and the ability to successfully partner with and advise senior business leaders and functional HR leads.Minimum Requirements:
Ten (10) years of experience in a senior, professional-level position in Human Resources or Health Care Industry role.
Seven (7) years of progressively responsible management experience.
Demonstrated strong and effective consulting and leadership coaching skills.
In-depth knowledge of the healthcare workforce shortages and strategies in workforce management (recruitment, selection, development & retention) as normally demonstrated through progressively responsible experience.
Innovative and Critical thinking, decision-making and proven relationship skills.
Advanced training and presentation skills.Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Masters degree in business, HR, organizational design/development, or related discipline required. (A bachelors degree may be considered based on other experience).
