ChristianaCare is searching for a Performance Improvement Senior Project Manager to collaborate with clinical and operational leaders in achieving strategic population health organizational goals resulting in healthier Delawareans.
Population health work is achieved by the Performance Improvement Sr. Project Manager engaging numerous services and professionals throughout the health system, vendor partners, and community organizations. This role will navigate skillfully among all of the key stakeholders creating an effective and efficient process for achieving the desirable performance improvement or strategic population health goal. In this role, you will equally navigate among various data sources to bring forward the most appropriate data and metrics to guide the actions of the improvement or goal. Consistent communication bidirectionally with clarity and precision is essential.
In addition, the project manager will leverage numerous project management, performance improvement, change leadership, group facilitation, data analytics, and stakeholder management tools and techniques to engage in the work consistent with the values of love and excellence.
The successful candidate will know when to use a project management frame to advance work or a conversation verses when to use change management, negotiation, or leadership. In addition, will have proven results in facilitating change and improvement in a complex health system environment, preferably within a population health environment. Equally important, is the knowledge of and ability to leverage not only high-level project management tools and techniques, but also change leadership, group facilitation, and bidirectional verbal and written communication.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in healthcare or relevant field, or completion within 2.5 years
Experience in successfully leading, facilitating and participating in multi-disciplinary teams using change leadership techniques, performance improvement tools and methodologies required
Formal project management training or equivalent with five years of experience in managing senior level complex organizational projects across service lines
Demonstrated sustainment in achievement of desired outcomes and leading transformational organizational projects
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent program completion required; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
Experience in managing and mentoring other healthcare professionals
Education and/or experience in one or more of the following are desirable: performance improvement, outcome analysis, project management, population health, health information technology
Experience in using electronic medical records, Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio), Tableau and other data collection, analysis and reporting platforms
