Position Summary
This position will be located in the East Valley, Gilbert location.
The Director of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for leading and directing the day-to-day administrative management and operation of the Imaging Division. These departments include; Non-Invasive Cardiology, Radiology, Neuro-Diagnostics and Sleep. This job is accountable for ensuring hospital and regulatory standards compliance, development and enforcement of service line policies and procedures, equipment management, scheduling and participation in the performance improvement initiatives. The Director leads activities including the establishment of a clean and safe environment, maintains knowledge of applicable laws and standards of responsible services and enforces compliance. Facilitates promotion and marketing of existing new services in alignment with organization’s strategic initiatives. Capable of managing multiple sites across geographies.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. (Required)
- Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent (Preferred)
- Bachelor`s Degree in Radiology or Healthcare related field. (Required)
- Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) by the Association of Medical Imaging Management (Preferred)
Experience
- Five years of related Imaging Department experience. (Required)
- Extensive technologist experience in a hospital setting required with pediatric patient population experience. (Preferred)
- Three years departmental management experience as a lead/supervisor. (Required)
Certifications
- Current ARRT or NMTCB Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. (Required)
Special Skills
- Strong understanding of financial cycles, billing and coding, planning, collections and contract negotiations. (Required)
- Exposure to a business environment as it relates to Radiology healthcare. (Required)
