The role you’ll contribute:
This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with both affiliated and non-affiliated physician groups in their assigned growth territory. This position will also be responsible for identifying other business opportunities that align with our market’s growth initiatives across our hospital’s various service lines.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Develops business relationships with providers by making effective sales calls and presentations to targeted referral sources. Communicates key service line product offerings, programs, and service delivery to physician network within assigned territory.
Troubleshoots problems or concerns providers may be experiencing that could impend referrals or patient care.
Performs statistical market analysis to identify new referral sources and maintain competitor profiles.
Present to hospital leaders and service line directors on key market intelligence, competitor profiles, growth initiatives, and areas of opportunity.
Logs daily call activity and develops plans for follow up activities.
Collaborates with marketing department to design and distribute sales collateral
Maintains professional and clinical knowledge of provider services across various physician groups and service lines.
Participates in physician activities and events, as determined by leadership.
Position will travel to physician offices as assigned.
Education and Experience Required
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or associate degree, or bachelor’s degree required
3 years of experience required in a healthcare setting
Valid driver’s license
Education and Experience Preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5 years of physician networking experience preferred in a healthcare setting
Knowledge and Skills Required
Strong customer service experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
Knowledge and Skills Preferred
Strong sales background preferred
Experience with giving presentations to large groups or executive leadership teams
