OverviewAtlantic Health System is seeking a Full-time Patient Financial Services Representative to work M-F from 8:30am - 5pm at their Morris Plains location.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Confirm delivery tickets ensure proof of delivery requirements are met.
* Track and log receipt of delivery tickets from Operations and Professional Services. Communicate any delays with management.
* Process back-orders.
* Review tickets in Bill Review for accuracy; make necessary corrections to meet payer rules.
* Bill claims in RTB.
* Create rental claims and review for accuracy.
* Manage compliance requirements for pap therapy to assure accurate billing.
* Report system errors to management for correction (missing modifiers, pricing discrepancies).
* Maintain CSR error log.
* Transmit electronic claims.
* Prepare and submit paper claims.
* Review and correct claim rejections.
* All other duties as deemed necessary.
QualificationsEducation/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
Relevant Experience:
- 1-2 years experience in health-care billing
