ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:
The MOA will greet patients, manage phones, schedule/confirm appointments, enter demographics & patient information, verify insurance coverage, complete necessary forms, collect co-pays, balance cash, maintain schedule in EMR system, and process pre-certs/authorizations & referrals as well as medical records releases, and perform other administrative tasks typical of a physician practice.
QualificationsEducation:
High School Diploma required
Qualifications/Requirements:
Prior administrative experience in a physician practice strongly preferred
Able to multitask and work flexible hours to accommodate physicians' schedule if necessary
Computer literacy in Word and Excel helpful
Knowledge of computerized scheduling & EMR system desired
