The Manager of Retail Pharmacy is responsible for all sites specific to Retail Pharmacy operations.  Supervises, coordinates and directs all activities of the pharmacists and technical staff. He/she shall maintain an ethical, professional behavior that ensures efficient, accurate, timely distribution and control of medications dispensed through the Retail Pharmacy and keep current on Federal and State regulations as they pertain to pharmacy in a retail setting.  The Manager is also responsible for the financial performance of the retail pharmacy business and for bringing forth new ways of expanding services and revenues that can benefit the enterprise. Partners with other Retail Pharmacy Managers to ensure alignment of processes/procedures and growth strategies. Also holds the position of Pharmacist In-Charge of the Retail Pharmacy location.

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy recognized by the California State Board of Pharmacy, possesses a PharmD degree, and be a California Registered Pharmacist in good standing is required.
• Must have a current BCLS Healthcare Provider CPR Card from the American Heart Association.
• Completion of a residency and/or advanced certification in a pharmacy specialty area is preferred.
• Proficient command of the English language.
• Must have a minimum of two years (2) of working experience in a community/retail setting with a minimum of either one (1) year management experience or completion of a leadership class/program is required.
• Licensure as a California Registered Pharmacist in good standing with experience in pharmacy scheduling, budget, Microsoft applications, pharmacy systems/processes is required. Experience using the Pharmacy application and 340B Contract Pharmacy experience is preferred.
