The Enterprise Data Architect will be responsible for data architecture, integration, design, development, and implementation to deliver modern business intelligence, analytics and data warehousing solutions for the enterprise. This role will also ensure the implementation of optimal and scalable solutions, provide guidance and direction on data conversion, migration, quality, and load performance. The Data Architect will work with customers to assist, gather, review and interpret business technical requirements and use case objectives. This role trains and supports less experienced developers & analysts, and is a leader in supporting methodologies and processes, as well as streamlining development (focus on reusable code) for faster delivery to end customers.This Supply chain Analytics team is responsible for data analytics across BSWH supply chain along with supporting other department within the organization, such as our hospitals, financial team, capital planning, Healthcare technology, etc.
The Supply Chain Management Analytics team is looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to join to take ownership of their advanced analytics database. The Data Architect will own implementing data standards, developing integrations, and maintaining the flow of data between our production systems and the advanced analytics database.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to strategize the design and processes to build and maintain the system, along with the technical ability to execute on the vision. They will also serve as a team lead and mentor for junior team members, training and delegating tasks as needed.
The essential functions of the Enterprise Data Architect include the following:- Provide design, deployment and data conversion of complex data solutions; including data validation, UAT and data quality practices.
- Capture data architecture metrics for benchmarking and trending to support quality of processes and related artifacts.
- Analyze detailed end user specifications and architect, design and develop solutions to accommodate business requirements.
- Responsible for creation and communication of data architecture, data integration, profiling standards and best practices.
- Provide developers and analysts with training and learning opportunities.
- Establish and participate in data management processes including data lineage, data profiling, data quality management and governance.
- Perform code reviews, design, and develop test plans for unit testing.
- Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements such as software upgrades.

- EDUCATION - Masters'
- EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 10 years experience requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Well versed in SQL
-Building integrations between systems
-Understanding of Cloud computing
-Data modeling experience
