Your day.

As an Business Analyst you need to know how to:

• Provide support to members of the Management team through data analysis, trend reports, and alignment to regulatory compliance needs.


• Maintain a configuration management system (CMS) to securely store Configuration Item (CI) data and to provide accurate information for risk assessment and incident resolution.


• Uphold and promote the value of Asset & Configuration management policies, processes and procedures within the organization to ensure compliance and reduce risk.


• Implement processes and procedures for maintaining the configuration management system, thereby maintaining the integrity and security of the configuration management system.


• Assist with regular audits of the configuration management system and configuration item data and implement processes to remediate non-compliance and ensure the database reflects the production environment.


• Assist with Software Compliance Reporting, assist with License Management, assist with Hardware Asset Audits, CI verification, entry, and updates, service mapping verification and assist with year-end software budget reporting.

Your experience.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Minimum of two (2) years as an application analyst or technical analyst supporting information technology applications.

Preferred:

• Bachelorâ™s degree in IT, Business Administration or related field. Additional studies in computer science or information services.


• Current ITIL V3 Foundations certification.


• Previous experience in support activities in a complex, multiple site business environment and IT Service Management application support.
