Job Summary
Primary liaison between a designated Institute(s), their Financial Managers and the clinicians for all items related to Revenue Management. Works closely with Institute, Physician, Advanced Practitioners, and Hospital / Clinical Operational leadership. This role is responsible for the proactive management of the revenue cycle processes and requires a full understanding of systems, clinical workflows and tools, process, and Institute specific billing and coding requirements. This role will provide the Institutes and Revenue Management leadership with the status and analysis of standard operational, financial and statistics on a regular basis and is recognized as a leader and subject matter expert by colleagues. Develops educational materials and processes to promote and streamline charge capture initiatives for providers throughout the system. Delivers this education in a meaningful and effective manner that will focus on efficiency and revenue optimization.Job Duties
- Develops and delivers orientation and educational programs to support revenue optimization and charging compliance among clinicians.
- Establish and manage effective ongoing communication with assigned Institute(s) to identify and address business needs; providers guidance and timely responses to customer service questions and requires; leads regular meetings with institutes and stakeholders.
- Effectively manage Institute(s) expectations regarding financial and overall Revenue Cycle performance.
- Works collaboratively with practices and leaders to enhance workflows and procedures by identifying training and development needs for all processes within the Revenue Cycle.
- Completes analysis of issues for action, presents this information and implements or supervises action plans.
- Proactively identifies sources of issues and communicates these to appropriate parties.
- Provides Institute(s) with updates on new initiatives within Revenue Management designed to enhance performance.
