JOB SUMMARY:
Application Developer duties include:
Design/Develop/Maintain company custom applications using .net technologies and Microsoft SQL server database
Design/Develop/Maintain custom reports using Microsoft Reporting Services
Analyze failures in batch job and provide solutions
Requirements gathering and documentation from end user and trading partners to ensure quality solutions

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have Four plus (4+) years of web programming experience, including developing web based applications using .NET techonologies with emphasis on VB.net and database driven development as well as object oriented programming. Must have experience in designing user interfaces HTML, JavaScript while utilizing .Net framework 3.5 or higher for server side programming. Candidate must have experience with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server. Design and development experience in Web services is required. Previous working experience in development and support of enterprise level web applications in a healthcare payor system is a plus.

1. Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
   • BS degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field
2. Work Experience (Year and Area):
   • Four plus (4+) years in web development experience. Healthcare industry knowledge is a plus
   • MDM experience strongly preferred.

Additional Requirements:
* Working experience with developing .NET web applications with emphasis on ASP.net in VB
* Working experience in developing Web Services
* Working experience in best practices on website security implementation
* Working experience in administrating Microsoft IIS 7.0 and higher
* Working experience developing VB.NET desktop applications
* Working experience in administrating MS SQL Server and developing Stored procedures
* Working experience with MS Visual Studio and Visual Studio Sourcesafe
* Working experience with database driven application programming
* Ability to design and implement best practice workflow and standard for ease of use
* Ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts
* Complex problem solving and documentation skills
* Fluent in English language - good written and verbal skills
* Passion for technology and Commitment to quality
* Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team

The following experiences are desirable:
* Experience with VBScript, Java, COM/DCOM objects
* Experience with MSFT IIS Web Server
* Experience with user authentication
* Understanding the software development life cycle, design and use of software requirements, design and testing documents.
