Position Summary:
The System Vice President for the Oncology Service Line reports directly to the System VP-Services Lines and serves as the system leader in the development of, quality, service line performance, clinical advancement, system program development and growth in Oncology services for MultiCare Health System. This role covers both strategic and clinical development across the organization and oversees the performance standards of the service line; identifying opportunities for growth and improvement across the system; recommending and implementing system-wide solutions and serves as a subject-matter expert and collaborative support advisor to regional leaders, physicians, ancillary support services, and population health teams for clinical expertise, quality improvement, growth, strategic expansion and service line integration and development.
The VP for Oncology is responsible for establishing the enterprise-wide key performance indicators and sets system goals in Oncology services, with input from regions, to support the growth and population health goals of the organization. This role also contributes to the development of enterprise-wide clinical pathways in partnership with the Physician Executive for System Service Lines and in collaboration with regional clinical leaders. The System VP for Oncology also has oversight over the strategic direction of Oncology services for MultiCare Health System (to include, oncology medicine and surgery, radiation oncology, infusion services, nutrition and education, integrative services, tumor boards and registry development/management, nurse navigation, genetics and genomics, community programs, applications and patient education programs.Minimum Requirements:
Ten (10) years of experience in a managerial capacity to drive and achieve system performance metrics.
