M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for a Supervisor at the M Health Fairview Heart Clinics.
This position is responsible for assisting the Manager/Director with department operations. This includes supervision of personnel and projects as delegated, including but not limited to hiring, discipline and performance evaluations.
This is a working supervisor role with a combination of both clinical and administrative duties.
This is a 1.0 FTE (40 hours per two week pay period), salaried, benefits-eligible role.
Supervises staff on patient care unit:
-Interviews and selects qualified employees to fill vacancies and build a team.
-Supports orientation of new employees to role, department, and organization.
-Provides a welcoming and supportive environment.
-Establishes effective relationships with staff, which promotes and improves employee engagement.
-Provides feedback and coaching.
-Uses corrective action when necessary.
-Assists with development and completion of annual staff competencies, monitoring compliance and takes action for non-compliance.

Assists with managing fiscal operations of the unit:
-Evaluates staffing and scheduling needs.
-Monitors budgets standards through assessment of variances and supporting action plans.

Three years experience in area of responsibility.
Experience in inpatient hospital setting.
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field. If bachelors is not in nursing then must have a masters degree in nursing.
