Responsible for the direction, budgeting and long range business growth and development of inpatient and outpatient cardiac services. Directs and guides personnel. Develops annual budget, evaluates FTE needs for productivity. Assists in providing quality services in an efficient manner by providing appropriate staffing, developing and implementing new programs, policies, procedures and protocols. Coordinates PI programs, recommends and maintains appropriate inventory/equipment/supply levels, coordinates departmental education programs and consults with physicians and CNO on needed changes. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Responsible for the 24 hr management of the assigned unit(s) assuring patient care meets the standard of care. Other duties as assigned.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or radiologic baccalaureate degree required and master’s in business or healthcare preferred.
Current State of Nevada Registered Nurse licensure or Registered by the appropriate corresponding board as an RTR, RCVT, RCVIT.
Minimum five years of clinical experience in Invasive Cardiology required.
Should be member of a Cardiovascular Professional or Administrative Society.
Previous supervisory or managerial experience in Service Line development strongly preferred.
