The Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Home Health Agency/Long Term Care is responsible for managing and overseeing the operations and performance of the Home Care Agency and Long-Term Care Facilities. This position ensures the BSHSI mission, vision, values, operating principles and the strategic direction are consistently communicated and evident in BSCHS Home Care & LTC operations and practices. In addition, the SVP advocates, supports, participates in, and fully implements system-wide services and programs.
Provides input and counsel to Bon Secours Charity Health System CEO on local and regional strategic and operational issues.
Develops and articulates the Home Care Agency & LTC vision and deploys strategies to achieve goals.
Identifies and pursues new business and service opportunities consistent with the market and home care agencies strategic plan.
Addresses the needs and concerns of the medical staff and promotes mutually beneficial business opportunities.
Improves physician satisfaction and develops new physician relationships that are aligned to the growth strategy of the business.
Works collaboratively with the senior leadership team to develop, communicate, and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction.
Assists in facilitating objectives and provides oversight to QAPI and PIP.
Ensures that systems, processes, and procedures are in place and utilized to continuously improve all services and outcomes.
Establishes the operation budget for HC & LTC in collaboration with the CFO/local senior leaders to achieve revenue goals, cost objectives, and market share targets.
Identifies and implements more effective models for service delivery.
Leads the implementation of systems and services to optimize community commitment.
Integrates information from WMC, local community, state, and federal levels to ensure an understanding and vision among stakeholders and advocates in order to enhance healthcare operations and quality of care for the communities.
Seeks out opportunities to integrate themselves into the community and participates on local boards to become a strong force within the community.
Provides leadership in the development of ongoing processes and systems that result in documented improvements in clinical and service outcomes throughout the local organization.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Licensed physician or NYS registered professional nurse. Ten (10) years management experience, including five years at a senior leader level in the health care industry as well as experience working with insurance carriers, preferred provider organizations, physician-hospital organizations, private practice physicians, and staff physicians.
MHA, MBA, MSN or another health-related field.

Individuals in this position are required to exercise universal precautions, use personal protective equipment and devices, and learn the policies concerning infection control.
