Stars Program Manager

Security Health Plan serves more than 225,000 people in a 40-county area in northern, western and central Wisconsin. We offer a variety of health insurance options for employer groups, individuals of all ages, and families of various income levels.

The Stars Program Manager is responsible for identification, development and implementation of strategic programs with significant focus on Health Plan ratings and performance monitoring for governmental agencies, including CMS Star Ratings and BadgerCare HMO Pay-for-Performance. This position works collaboratively with internal teams, provider partners and vendors to develop implement and monitor continuous improvement plans that includes programs, services and tactics to allow Security Health Plan to lead the industry in quality programs designed to improve member experience and clinical outcomes.

This position will be remote and training will be done virtually.

Requires:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field
• Minimum five years of experience in managing quality or performance in the payor or provider space
• Demonstrated outcomes and knowledge of reporting and analysis of healthcare related data
• Demonstrated expert proficiency with verbal, non?verbal and written communications skills, presentations and with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Education / Experience:

• Master’s degree in business administration, health administration or related field
• Experience in project management in healthcare industry. Experience in health plan quality performance and ratings
