Hackensack Meridian Health Care Transformation Service (CTS) lines are a way of joining similar services around diseases or other care dimensions to provide seamless, value-based and patient-centered care to the female and child patients we serve.
The Vice President Care Transformation Services (CTS), Women’s and Children’s provides leadership, directions and administration to ensure compliance with established strategic objectives, and the realization of quality and economic health care services across the network. The incumbent will lead the transformation of operations into an outstanding model for collaboration and teamwork, patient experience and quality outcomes. In collaboration with the President, the VP will oversee strategic operations for Care Transformation Service for the Women’s and Children’s Business Unit, ensuring that short- and long-term goals create focus and alignment, and are widely supported by the executive leadership team.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring integration and coordination of systems and Care Transformation Services initiatives across the continuum
- Identifying and acting on growth opportunities, program development and competitive analysis
- Executing the CTS strategic plan across the network including planning and directing daily operating activities
- Ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulatory agency requirements
- Working with local and network leadership, CTS Steering Committee and clinical teams to continually improve operational standards, program development, operating budgets, compliance and services
- Integrating programs and services throughout HMH to leverage business, lower costs and operational support to facilitate achievement of the CTS strategic plan
- Establishing and monitoring metrics and outcome measures to achieve best operational practices through the network
- Supporting achievement of US News and World Report rankings, CMC Star Ratings, Healthgrades and national quality, safety and experience metrics
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in related field
- 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare operations and hospital service line management within a large integrated academic health care organization, with at least 7-8 years in a leadership role
- Extensive budget experience and understanding of the business implications of moving from volume to value-based payment for care will be expected
- Exceptional communication skills and experience with engaging and building relationships with HMH leadership
- Working knowledge of health care and business metrics, benchmarks, economic engines and standards that drive and/or shape the industry and care transformation principles
- Demonstrated analytical ability to identify problems, develop solutions and execute in collaboration with other leaders or constituents and establish and measure various metrics to assess success of the service line
- Superior skills in research, planning skills, customer/client orientation, interpersonal skills, oral and written communication
