Supervisor, Rehabilitation - Outpatient Rehab

Responsible for the development, supervision, and integrity of the assigned department within the CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System and/or specific discipline including outcomes, patient satisfaction and clinical pathways for rehabilitation. Responsible for ensuring quality patient care through the entire continuum of care, regardless of level of care or site of service, including patient and family education/ training. Assists staff delivering care to assure effective and efficient operations and patient satisfaction. Provides clinical services: evaluates patients, sets goals, plans programs and treats patients according to the physician's orders; maintains required records and note; assists with directing technicians and support personnel; assumes responsibility for therapy charges, assumes responsibility for daily therapy staffing/scheduling, participates in educational programs; follows all CHRISTUS St. Michael Rehabilitation Hospital's departmental policies and procedures. Assists the manager with fiscal planning, budgeting control, staffing, and equipment evaluation for capital acquisition.

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy/occupational therapy/speech therapy program.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• One-Three years experience in physical therapy/occupational therapy/speech therapy is preferred.
• Maintains current licensure/registration/certification and provides the hospital with proof of indicated requirements.
• BCLS certification.
